Any info on which O/S their boards assistance. How can this be carried
out? Merchants in my region do not have a wide choice of boards so
can't use that avenue to verify. I hope this does not come throughout
as a silly question. I lately bought an Asus M3N78 Pro atx mobo to
improve my house server. the components side of things went well with no
problems. Installed the server software which went okay. The issue was
that the Support CD would not set up the related motorists required as
it kept stating that Winnt five.2 is not supported. Tried dishonest by
usig win explorer installing individually, but kept getting the exact
same issue. Reverted server back again to previous board. Have checked
Asus goods/support pages can't discover any information on which O/S
their boards support. I would also open up the driver folder and see if
your os drivers is outlined in the driver folder on the cd. Winnt
5.two is Home windows

purchased a customer quality motherboard, meant for use in an ordinary
desktop Pc, and that the packaged driver disk only has drivers for
customer quality OSs (Windows 2000 Pro, Windows XP, Vista). They
probably don't hassle sending out server class drivers on customer CDs.
Windows Server 2003 does nearly always require different drivers from
Home windows XP, even for exterior appliances like printers. I am not
surprised the motherboard chipset drivers are various too.

written any server class drivers for that motherboard I could only find
the 3 I have listed (furthermore 64 bit variations of XP and Vista).
Since you are planning to use it for a house server, why not attempt
Microsoft House Server rather? ID: 853746 Winnt 5.2 is Windows 2003
Server. I suspect that what has occurred is that you have purchased a
customer grade motherboard, meant for use in an normal desktop Computer,
and that the packaged driver disk only has motorists for consumer
quality OSs (Home windows 2000 Professional, Windows XP, Vista). They
most likely do not hassle sending out server class motorists on consumer
CDs. Home windows Server 2003 does almost always need various

I'm not surprised the motherboard chipset motorists are various as well.
You will have to search the Asus website to see if they have even
written any server course drivers for that motherboard I could only find
the 3 I have outlined (furthermore sixty four bit variations of XP and
Vista). Because you're preparing to use it for a house server, why not
try Microsoft House Server instead? But that is what I use.
